Administrative Assistant
This position reports to the Senior Director of Dispatch & Purchasing.
Job Overview
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to multiple department leads and perform general office management duties. Becht Industrial Group is a fast-paced, think-outside-the-box organization. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, independent, efficient, proactive, action-oriented individual with a high level of integrity who is capable of maintaining confidentiality as it relates to our customers, employees, and business operations. This is a part-time, in-office position based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist multiple remote department leads such as Accounting, Dispatch, Purchasing, Human Resources, Operations and Contracts with general administrative duties
- Answer office phone lines and route communications to the appropriate departments
- Open, sort and distribute incoming mail to the relevant departments on a daily basis
- Assist warehouse manager with incoming and outgoing equipment and supply shipments
- Schedule and coordinate virtual and in-person team meetings
- Perform general office manager duties, including overseeing company’s service providers
- Maintain poise and focus while working within tight timeframes
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Conduct work in a safe and efficient manner
- Additional responsibilities as required
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience as a mid-level administrative assistant in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding work ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, and creative problem-solving skills
- Relentless commitment to teamwork, excellence and customer service
